Gamma Chapter “Una Decada de Oro”

Alpha Psi Lambda, Gamma Chapter, was born on November 11, 1989 at Northern Illinois University.

The founders at Gamma Chapter set out to accomplish the same goal that our fraternity founders

set out to accomplish, but for Northern Illinois University. Our thirteen founders were successful in beginning a

strong organization that has produced/developed many positive leaders. It has been over a decade since we were introduced

to Northern and since then have produced over 234 members. Alpha Psi Lambda, Gamma chapter is proud to boast over a 90%

graduation rate for our members. Many of our Alumni are successful in fields that span various industries. Alumni can be found in the field

of Education, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering and Law just to name a few. Many others went on and pursued Graduate Level

Degrees, Doctoral Degrees, and Jurist Doctorate Degrees. This provides undergraduate students a vast network to tap into for support and

resources.
