Purposes

Alpha Psi Lambda strives to achieve success in every sector of the college experience and beyond. Our Eight Purposes build the foundation for that success.  It is through the Eight Purposes that we can achieve success, stability and visibility on campus and the surrounding community.

1.    Serve the University Campus and Community

2.    Bring forth on a scholastic level Latinos/Latinas and others at the University on the Basis of Friendship

3.    Provide a supplementary educational, social and cultural experience for the mutual cultivation of its members.

4.    Advocate for the needs and concerns of Latino/Latina students.

5.    Promote a basis for the diversity of the Latina/Latino cultures.

6.    Enhance the educational experience through social and cultural activities, and assist in members leadership ability.

7.    Promote inter-fraternity relations.

8.    Foster positive relations among the University/Campus Administration, Greek System and outside community.

 

Symbols

The following information includes our Greek letters, flower, mascot, colors and motto.  This is information that Alpha Psi Lambda members hold very close to them because they are the building block of our fraternity.
