Description: The
Northern Illinois University Counseling Association (NIUCA) is a chapter
of the Illinois Counseling Association, which is a state branch of the
American Counseling Association. This group participates in volunteer,
social, and informational meetings to build camaraderie and friendship,
while also expanding the mind and understanding of students in the
counseling program. It is open to all undergraduate, master’s level, and
doctoral students who wish to learn more about the field of professional
counseling.
NIUCA
Mission: To enhance human development throughout the life span and to
promote the counseling profession within the northern Illinois area.
