• A speech to entertain with the purpose to make a serious point through the use of humor.
• Maximum speaking time is 10 minutes.
• Notes may be used.

COMMUNICATION ANALYSIS

• An original speech designed to offer an explanation and/or evaluation of a communication event (i.e. speech, speaker, movement, poem, poster, film, campaign, etc.) through the use of rhetorical principles.
• Maximum speaking time is 10 minutes.
• Visuals and manuscripts may be used.
