Police Tactics / Law Enforcement Programs

The NIU Tae Kwon Do - Hapkido Korean Martial Arts Club in cooperation with the World Chung Do Mu Sool Won Association is offering certification in pressure point and joint locking techniques for law enforcement majors. It is a two day event lasting 2.5 hours each day. Topics to be covered range from aggressor redirection, controlling, and restraining techniques to muscle ripping and flesh tearing techniques, including weapon evasion/disarm and use. Techniques practiced are based on police alumni experience, usefulness against intoxicated aggressors, and ease/natural reaction of the student.

The Seminar Instructor has worked closely with officers of the FBI, ATF, Chicago Police Dept. and with local suburban law enforcement officials to design the best program possible. For more information on the certification program, please contact us.
