the Northern Moral Sciences Club
Special Event
Stephen Hicks, Professor
and Chair of the Department of Philosophy
at Rockford College,
will give a lecture on "Diagnosing Post-Modernism,"
February 18th at
7:00 pm in DuSable 204.
In his lecture, Prof. Hicks will (1) identify clearly and in terms of principles
the differences between Modernism and Post-Modernism, (2) present two hypotheses
about the origins of Post-Modernism, and (3) provide arguments for a few
key points needed to turn the intellectual tide away from post-modernism.
The Northern Moral Sciences Club invites
