About Psi Chi
Psi Chi is an honor society in Psychology. The goals of Psi Chi are to help students explore their interests, understand the opportunities available to them, and create professional relationships. Psi Chi meets every other week to hear various speakers on topics of interest to psychology students, plans and participates in several community service events, co-hosts "Meet the Faculty" night each fall with SPA (Student Psychology Association), and participates in fundraisers throughout the year to pay for member induction ceremonies, for service projects, fellowship activities, and for honor cords or sashes for graduation.

If you are a member and would like to receive email news from the National Psi Chi organization, update your contact information on the national website by followingthese steps:

•		Go to the members section on the national Psi Chi website at http://www.psichi.org/members/membersonly.asp
•		Click on the link "Create Logon" and follow the instructions to create an ID and password if you have not done so already.
•		Click on "Contact Info" and update your email address and other contact information.
•		Click on "Mailing Lists" and select "My Chapter Emails" to receive regular updates from the NIU Psi Chi officers about up-coming events and opportunities. You may also opt to receive information from the national Psi Chi organization, including the Psi Chi Digest, a biweekly newsletter.
