Northern
Illinois University Student Education Association is open to all
Education Majors and students seeking Teacher Certification. At our
monthly meetings, members hear from a variety of guest speakers about
topics and issues relevant to today’s preservice teacher. We also hold a
workshop here at NIU and the Illinois Education Association Student
Program also offers two conferences for student professional development.
As a member, you receive employment assistance, professional publications
as well as one million dollars insurance protection in the unlikely event
that something happens while you are a preservice teacher.
