| The
NIU Table Tennis Club is NIU's very own Student Association
recognized Table Tennis Club. As an organization we hope
to bring together everyone that loves table tennis to
meet others with similar interest and participate in friendly
competition. And for those seeking more intense competition,
we have a team they can try out for within the club that
competes against other schools at annual National Collegiate
Table Tennis Association competitions. We welcome people
of all skill levels and don't require any skill to join
the club, so you can join even if you're completely new
to the sport. |

| Although fairly new
to the sport, the '03/04 executive counsel, Michael Nowicki,
Kevin Kuchar, Sean Safavi, and Mathew Hartman, all played
at the OCR rather regularly. Seeing that table tennis was
rather popular recreationaly at NIU, the guys set out to
form a club, which would provide the other NIU students
with a place to play and meet other table tennis players. |

The NIU TT club
will be meeting at the OCR on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays during
the Fall'04 semester.
Wednesdays: Activity Room
#1 from 2pm to 4pm.
Fridays: Activity Room
#1 from 7:30pm to 8pm.
Sundays: Basketball Court #7 from 8pm to
10pm.

Your first day at
the club is always FREE!!
Students & NIU Faculty:
- Semester Membership - $25
- In addition to not having to pay for day passes, the
membership allows you use of the club's equipment at
your own discretion (even when the club is not in session
you could use our tables, nets, paddles, balls, etc.).
Also, our Intercollegiate Table
Tennis Team is only open to members.
- Day Pass - $3
- Won't get you use of the tables and equipment in non-session
times, but is great for those who come sporadicaly.
Non-Students:
- Day Pass - $5
-Unfortunately this is the only option currently open
to non-Students. The Day passes are purchased from the
OCR at the Front Desk. Just show us your receipt when
you come in.
